Creative Arts Therapy for Adults

At different times in life we all face challenges that are hard to name, understand, or process — especially when trying to express them through words alone. Whether you're moving through a life transition, managing a diagnosis or seeking personal growth, creative arts therapy offers a hands-on, supportive way to connect with your inner world.

As an experiential form of therapy — where we learn by doing — art therapy can gently support insight, emotional regulation, and healing. You don’t need to be “good at art” — you just need curiosity and a willingness to explore.

Creative arts therapy can be used on its own or alongside other health and therapeutic supports.

I work with adults navigating:

  • Grief and loss

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Body image, self-esteem & eating disorders

  • Anxiety and depression

  • Chronic illness and pain

  • Workplace stress and burnout

  • Emotional regulation and overwhelm

  • Social isolation or disconnection

  • Communication and relationship challenges

  • Personal, family or career change

  • Gender identity and sexuality

  • Neurodivergence

What to Expect

Each session is shaped around your needs. You might draw, paint, move, build, or simply reflect — whatever helps you access what’s within and express it safely.

Through creative exploration, we work together to:

  • Process emotions that feel stuck or too big for words

  • Reconnect to your body, intuition and insight

  • Support nervous system regulation and grounding

  • Make meaning of your experiences in a way that feels authentic

  • Rebuild connection — with yourself and with others

Personalised, Private Support

One-on-one sessions offer you a dedicated space to explore what's present in your life — free from judgment, pressure, or the need to have all the answers. Here, therapy is shaped in response to you — your pace, your preferences, your lived experience.

Together, we use creative processes to help you explore, reflect, and find clarity — whether you're facing a current challenge or wanting to reconnect with your deeper self. This is your time, held with care, and tailored to support your growth, healing, and self-understanding in a way that feels steady and grounded.

Groups for Adults

Creative arts therapy groups offer the therapeutic benefits of art-making in a supportive group setting — where connection, reflection, and creativity come together. These groups are designed for people navigating similar life themes, offering a space to feel seen, supported, and not alone in what you're moving through.

You’re invited to share as much or as little as feels right. Often, simply creating alongside others opens up powerful opportunities for self-awareness, emotional insight, and gentle learning.

Current group offerings include:

Caring for the Carer
→ Learn to set boundaries, replenish your energy, and feel supported in your caregiving role.

Postpartum & the Role of Mother
→ Make space for your identity, emotions, and needs amidst the motherhood journey.

Living with Chronic Illness
→ Process grief and frustration, build inner resilience, and create meaningful self-connection.

Ageing & Dementia Support
→ Explore identity through change, reduce isolation, and foster dignity and expression.
